The MPU range of continuous poly bag hole punching machines manufactured by Maklaus Srl has been launched in the UK, by Jenton
Capable of punching polyethylene poly bags and other film materials with holes from 3mm to 120mm continuously at speeds up to 40 cycles per second, the MPU range of punches opens the possibility of punching to a wide range of applications in films up to 800 micron.
Punches are modular and can be mounted with hole centres separated by only 15mm. A sophisticated punch control system, operated from a touch screen can independently activate punches consistently, for accurate positioning. A trigger signal can be sent from an encoder or host machine. Complex hole patterns can be programmed.
Punches are quiet in operation and simple to maintain. Much thought has gone into the engineering of the punch mounting structure to allow for easy mounting and adaptation for future production applications. No diversion of web is required and simple air plenums and short air piping ensures minimum disturbance of host machine.
