Application:The Stanford Seammachine™ represents a new benchmark for producers of shrink sleeves. With its patent-pending process, increased speed and minimal waste, the Seammachine™  offers increased efficiency, productivity, and ease of operation.

Inspector Unit

Application: Designed by Stanford specifically for shrink-sleeve applications, the Model DM 10/16 compliments Stanford's SeammachineTM. Incorporating Stanford's patent-pending oscillation technology and with seam inspection options ranging from manual to automatic, the Doctor Machine InspectorTM series of rewinders offers operators unparalleled control and inspection capabilities.
Web Width: 10" (254 mm) and 16" (406 mm) webwidth standard. Other widths available as options.

Doctor Machine® Model 142 Jr.

Designed by Stanford specifically for the narrow-web market, the Model 142 Jr is capable of winding a wide range of products from light gauge extensible films to pressure sensitive label stock.

Powered by a two-motor AC vector drive system, this machine features full touchscreen control, a splice table, trimming, a dancer-position tension control and the option to add video inspection. To view a larger picture, click here

Slitter Model 738HC Slitter/Rewinder

Application: From Stanford, well suited to narrow web converters with a wide range of products, especially those not uniform in thickness. Recommended materials: polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester, film laminates, pressure sensitive label stock, paper and other flexible materials. A step-in platform facilitates knife setup. This unit has an AC Vector drive system, PLC based controls with touchscreens and recipe storage.

Model T600P

Designed to handle up to 600 lbs. per shaft, the Model T600P from Stanford,  is rotated manually and indexes pneumatically.

Stanford offers a range of roll handling equipment designed to provide for more efficient loading and unloading of rolls, while minimizing the physical strain on operators. All our roll handling equipment is sturdy and capable of handling roll weights up to 1200 lbs. per shaft. Hydraulic, pneumatic and electrically actuated options are available, with a full range of controls from manual to fully automatic. We allow for complete interfacing with robotic and conveyor belt systems.

Application: From Stanford, tension ranges from 1/8 to 1 ‡ PLI. Suitable to many material types, including light films, film laminates, non-wovens and light papers.
