Junior VC

Control type Junior VC offers an easy to use solution to control the viscosity of liquids measured by OBD or MTD sensors. Without doubt the easiest way to achieve fully automatic viscosity control.

A standard set consists of a control box as shown, an OBD-dipsensor and a dosing valve.

Options like enlarged frontplate and individual scalings are available.

• Analogue control with +/- or digital display of actual value and setpoint
• Adjustment of setpoint with potentiometer or press button
• Easy to install and operate
• Control box suitablefor either wall mounting or panel installation
• Valve control exit for solvent/water supply to control the viscosity

OBD Rotating Dip Sensors

Accurate viscosity measurement is done with the Opti-Color OBD rotating dip sensors. These units are tried and tested over many years!
The way of installation with a simple drilling in the main tank guarantees for flexibility and will ensure easy maintenance and cleaning if necessary.

• Supported cleaning with optional sensor quivers made of stainless steel

Falling Ball Sensors

Falling ball sensors can be used in bypass installation with existing machine pumps or as a stand-alone circulation unit with oc-pumps for permanent control.The measurement is done with highest accuracy, the measuring cycles are adjustable. The new sensor ViskoStar fits in best manner to automatic Auto-Clean systems at printing stations.

The control: Central and optimized:

Multiplex FK systems are used in combination with the opti-color falling ball sensors and are able to control up to 8 stations plus optionally rotating sensor i.e. for coating stations.

The new generation of type Junior Dual FKS allows to equip also single stations in an economic way.

• Fully digital control with extensive software and numerous adjustable parameters
• Scaling functions for best setting even with problematic or new inks and liquids
• RS-232, printer interface, oc-net functions, oc-3000 and oc-4000 software
• Multiplex FK units for use with 8 (9) sensors via only one control box
• Option: Temperature and pH-control channels

Test Cups

Test cups: A good start for many and various applications, are used to get initial information about viscosity values. Opti-Color supplies test cups in various designs / standards for use in production and labs.

• OC-test cups, form as DIN 53211 with handle, nozzles 2 - 8 mm
• Test Cups refer FORD, ZAHN and Shell with several nozzles
• ISO 2431 and DIN 53211 test cups with overflow and tripod .... and more
• Viscosity test oils for checks and calibrations of opti-color viscosity controls.
