Despite the new plastic bag tax in the UK, the opportunities for the flexible plasitc bag converting industry are present and diverse. Bag
making machines can still make carrier bags but are now also making security envelopes, bags for packaging, padded envelopes, liners
for many applications, pouches, sleeves as well as new products and innovations.
SVT, (Formerly Schmidt) offer a wide range of specialist and custom built poly bag machines and poly bag machine attachments for the
production of plastic bags in or out-of-line with the film extrusion process, side and bottom weld, sleeves, conical bags, mailing bags and
a range of specialist adaptions to existing machines.
SVT bag machines are equipped with brushless servo motor technology, photocells, weld temperature controls, and microprocessor
based system controls for making bags at cycles over 200 per minute and can add value with handles, draw tapes, print, adhesive strips,
heat seals, punched holes etc. Jenton can advise on all aspects of SVT - multiple solutions for converters and manufacturers of flexible
plastic bag making machines.
